Also during Easter, my work and ideas were featured on The Young Creatives website. Have a look at the article here!...

Have a busy few weeks ahead and aiming to produce a selection of designs that I can apply within the interior market. Whilst I am not too busy printing, I have time to research Canada where I will be spending 6 weeks of my summer!! Very excited and already found some beautiful places I can't wait to visit!
Week's progress...
I have decided to focus on design samples that can eventually be re-created into wallpaper designs. I want my designs to be quite versatile so I can apply them to many surfaces. I have started new ideas such as paper cuttings and screen-prints...
Thinking of creating designs that can be applied as an artist print or a repeat wallpaper.
News...
After a busy Easter and a trip down to London, I managed to find some time to start adjusting some previous designs and creating new compositions to screen-print soon...
I have used stitch to create different textures, however I think I will focus on more printing and maybe use embossing for a slightly different element.

Conclusions...
So... After many layers of kodatraces and exploring different colours I managed to get back in the printroom and free myself of creative energy!
This is what I managed to come up with... I love exploring the layers and the process of building colour to create a richer design. Many designs have evolved from my original drawings and I can start to picture them enlarged and play with scale to create full wallpapers or furnishing fabrics!
Been a busy few weeks to get a head start on the new design project... I have been working on some new drawings to inspire me and creating new compositions to transform into prints! Just been working on smaller ones at the moment but the process will begin to create full lengths of wallpapers and coverings!
