Post New Designers..

After settling back in at my home in the Wirral, I am continuing to draw and try and communicate with the outside design world to keep my design active. New Designers Exhibition Part One

Lots to update on after exhibiting at New Designers Part One at the end of June! Very exciting to be there and loved every minute of it, it was so interesting to see how the design world works and chat to new people. Here are a couple of quick snaps I took from the week we spent there..

I was really happy with the presentation of my stand as the wall space was quite small! It was a wonderful experience and I am excited to see if anything comes of it..

Graduate Collection

Some quick snaps of the final collection... Plenty more to come but these are all based around the idea of creating beautiful and unique scarves. Each design is hand screen-printed.

New Designers

I am excited to announce I will be exhibiting my work at New Designers 2013.. I am very much looking forward to this event and if you get the chance, come and visit stand T14!

Our degree show this year also begins on June 14th at Leeds College of Art, Blenheim Walk. If Leeds is a bit more accessible, then come and check out the exhibition! 

Printed Length...

I have completed my first printed length! Screen-printing 3 metres of hand-dyed fabric with 3 colours! I am looking forward to displaying all of my prints together at the show...

I have completed my first screen-printed scarf design. I am really happy with the outcome even when tackling the screens about the size of me!

As the end is near, I thought I would post some images from the last few weeks of intense printing.. It is the end of an era as we say goodbye to the studio and hello to real life! The collection has come together and I am looking forward to presenting to the world...
