The lovely shop in Hoylake is definitely worth a visit, it sells unique gifts and lots made by local designers! I have been printing and packaging up my most recent stock order for the shop. I went to see them in situ today and took a quick store snap..

Projects
Along with celebrating a lovely Valentine's weekend with my boyfriend in Chester, I have also had a busy creative week! I have been working on some projects using the Craft Asylum papers I have designed for the packaging. I really enjoy this practical side of my job, being a bit more hands-on and finding new ways to influence my pattern designs.

With my first collection - Candy - for Craft Asylum due for release in March, it was exciting to visit the printing studio to see the testing and the process of how it all comes together! I took some snaps whilst we were there to share...

New Cards
I have been busy designing for some new stock for the shop Urbane in Hoylake! I have focused on some Mother's Day and Easter cards. After the grey, misty morning this morning, it has made me look forward to the upcoming Spring and injecting some colour in each day...
I would love to know what you think.. These should be available in the store within the next couple of weeks and I might pop them up on my Etsy page too!

January Round-Up!
Hello,
It's been a lovely start to the year and I wanted to share it with you!
I've been working...
On new collections in my creative job, I design for a brand called Craft Asylum. Creating paper pads, stamps and embellishment kits (as well as, packaging, projects, catalogues, show graphics...!) for the paper crafting market. I am learning so much and my first collection has just been sent to print, which is more than exciting!

On new cards and gift ideas for a lovely little shop in Wirral, called Urbane. I am stocking some Spring collections there, including celebrating Mother's Day and Easter!
I've been visiting...
London! My boyfriend has just moved down South and a silver lining is being able to visit and be constantly inspired in the big city.. We always make an effort to get out and about, talking walks across Putney Bridge and eating in some lovely restaurants around London.
Reading! To celebrate my big brother's 40th birthday.. A lovely weekend spent with my whole family eating (far too much cheese) and drinking (probably too much gin)
I've been wearing...
This onesie... A LOT.. I designed this print when I was on work experience at Debenhams last year, and me and my sisters have become slightly obsessed!
Broadchurch.
I've been booking...
Holidays to Prague and Croatia! Really looking forward to spending some time in lovely cities and finding new inspirations and ideas on my travels.
I'm looking forward to...
Many more exciting projects and new adventures in the year to come. I'm hoping to continue with my design work outside of my current job and explore new opportunities.. I hope you continue to enjoy them!

A few changes...
It has been a while since I last blogged and I have been working on various projects and some new work! I do have a new look website which can be found here:
I have also been away on a work placement and learnt a lot more about the design industry since leaving university. I designed some Christmas themed prints for the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection so stay tuned for pictures of them in store and online! Very exciting and it was great to be a part of it.
Since returning, I wanted to keep up with the seasonal changes so I set a very tiny, make-shift screen-printing studio in my garage so I can practice making some cards and paper goods for my new shop!
It has been so much fun having my own space to print again and I can hopefully go on to sell a lot more products from home now!
This has really been focusing on Christmas products but hopefully in the near future, I will be launching some new print products out into shops across Liverpool!
